2011 Book
It came!!! I am so excited. It was an awesome mail week last week. I got my project 365 book from blurb. 52 scrapbook pages all in one nice little book. oh I just love it!
I know that it is almost the end of February, but in my defense, I was stumped on what to do for the front and back cover. But I got them done and ordered it at the beginning of Feb and it came last week! And my kids love it. They spent the afternoon looking through it and commenting on the photos with a remember this attitude.
Which makes me really regret that I am not doing it this year. I am doing something similar but just not the picture of the day. I did start taking more pictures of the kids after they loved this book so much.
And also last week in the mail I got my monthly scrapbook pages that I have done for the last two years. Yes I am a little slow with printing them, but I got them done. I printed them over at Scrapping Simply. They do great work and you should go and like them on facebook because they will have a sale here when they get around 20 more followers! And that means cheaper prints for everyone!!

Project 365 -week 1
I hope that you are all having a great weekend. I have been doing laundry, and then some more laundry and then even a little bit more laundry. I have sick kids - every single one of them has thrown up within the last 48 hours. But between switching loads, giving saltines, and telling the kids to take a nap I managed to put all of my pictures into my digital page to share with all of you today.
I am not sure how many of you scrapbook, but I love digital scrapbooking! It is so easy. At first I was a little bit uncertain of it, because I was not sure if I had enough computer knowledge to make this work. However, when I was thinking that I did not think about the fact that I was using photoshop to alter the family photos I took for other people.
Yea, so when I finally took the plunge it was a piece of cake. This is my layout for this first week of Project 365, 51 more to go! ;) I will use this template for the whole month of January and then use a different one for February and so on for March and etc, etc, etc. Nothing too exciting this week - I will be showing you how to make these PB knockoff candles later this week. They are so easy and that small cream one looks just like the one in the catalog! And that one was my friends!
Now I have quite a bit of scrapbooking supplies that I am not quite sure what they will be used for. I have to admit I am a hoarder - but I am slowly finding things that I want to make. For example I am working on a gratitude journal for 2011. I should have it done here this week.
Also there is still time to link up to our Fantastic Friday link party! Show us what you got!

Happy New Year!
I hope that all of you have a wonderful New Year, and that you had a safe and enjoyable time celebrating last night.
Today I am sharing a few of my New Years Resolutions with you. I saw a scrapbook page done similar to this and thought it would be a good idea. I got all of my supplies for this digital page from Designer Digitals. I am planning on making a little album to help me keep on track and show my progress.
The goals/resolutions I put on here are:
1. Go camping with my family. Growing up we went camping a lot and I enjoyed it. However, with my family we have never really had the opportunity to go camping very many times. When we have the kids have loved it. Now that we are actually in a good job that gives good vacation time, I want to take the kids camping. Conan is all for it, and Thing #2 was super excited when she read this one over my shoulder.
2. Finish six quilts. I have a few that I have started already and I will probably count those, but I have quite the stash of fabric and patterns for it all ready to go . . . I just need to do it. I hope that this will help me to complete some of them.
3. Live more in the moment by completing Project 365. This is a project where you take one picture everyday to chronicle your life more or less. I have a digital layout all made and so I will just have to copy and paste the picture and add journaling. I am also hoping that this helps me with writing in my journal, because I am not so good at that.
4. Eat less refined sugar and processed foods. I am not quite sure how to chronicle this one, but I will think of something. I set this goal because I tend to eat what I want. I have no problem working out, I do that all the time. But there is something about eating that gets me. I know that cleaning up my eating will help my to showcase my hard earned muscles. This will probably be my hardest one.
5. Stay caught up in scrapbooking. Since I have gone to digital scrapbooking I have found that it is easier to get my scrapbook pages done. I am hoping to finish a few from last year that I have started and the ones from Christmas that I have not started - and stay on top to things. I will post a few here and there as I get some done.
6. Earn my Youngwomanhood Recognition as a leader. In my church I earned this award as a teenager and now they changed the program a little bit and are giving the leaders an opportunity to earn it. I have started on this and am hoping that I will be able to finish it this year.
There you have it, a few of the things which I hope to accomplish this year. I am a list maker so there are many things which I would like to do, but I decided to chronicle these 6. What are some of the things that you would like to accomplish this year? Or what goals did you accomplish last year that you are proud of?
And don't forget about Fantastic Friday on Jan 7th!

Nativity Parade
I love nativities, and so when I saw that Char over at Crap I've Made was doing a nativity parade I just had to participate. I would have to say that my Willow Tree nativity is my favorite one right now, probably because it is my most recent one to acquire. But I love all of them for various reasons.
I even made a digital scrapbook page about them - that is how bad my obsession is!
If you love nativities or want to see some great crafting stuff head on over to Crap I've Made and see what kind of fun things she has over there!
